Crazy's "C" cds...

Jerome Wrote:A shot in the dark - Johnny Cash

incorrect Jerome, but like the way you thought about that one....
and,
it must have been really soul destroying and painful for you to type "johnny cash"....lol.

and in any case, the clue for Cash would surely be "artist who Pink Floyd ripped off by copying his 'concept albums' concept"...LMAO again!

correct evil, and you are now on the board with that guess mate!
she was the winner of Idol in its first year, she also, apparently, was runner up in "world idol" a couple of years after that.
yes, i have one Kelly Clarkson album, her "stronger" one from a couple of years ago
the album has not been posted by me previously, i will do that then post the next clue to the next "C" artist in my collection

correct Ruby....
i have all three studio sets of these guys as a foursome and their live album "4 way street"
their first album "deja vu" has to be one of the greatest albums ever IMO as does their live album(as far as live albums go anyway!)
the studio albums can be found in the various "neil young beginners guide" threads(links below)
the live album, i love it but i dont review live albums for the simple fact live albums are difficult to do IMO

Yep - Deja vu is great! What always amuses me is that I can never remember the names of the other two guys which are quite clearly printed on the cover! It's like they're ghosts. Weird! Or maybe it's just me! LOL

me too, yet they were an integral part of the album also, they were part of CSNY

its also pretty hard to knock the Byrds,Hollies and Buffalo Springfield also, i know BS didnt sell very well, but they were all great bands in their own right, and to come together and make an even better band...well, you know?!

i saw CSN here in Perth at a festival a couple of years ago...those guys still have "it"...especially Stephen Stills, great guitar playing and vocals, he pretty much held the whole thing together singlehandedly(not that the other two were bad) but Stills was clearly the 'leader of the pack' IMO

Don't know if you have it CH, but 'Daylight Again' is a masterpiece. (Wasted on the Way, Southern Cross, The Delta & the title track)

no i dont have it Jerome, thanks for the tip mate.
i only have their debut as a trio

i read somewhere once that Daylight Again started life as Stills,Nash project with Art garfunkel, apparently their label told them it has to be solo projects or CSN/CSNY only, i read they held out for a few months but their recording company didnt give in to them, charging them directly for their studio time until they made it a CSN album....
i would have thought any of those guys could have really done what they wanted even in the 1980s...so much for "free artist expression"!
