Visited my favourite music store today, CD Heaven! Met a 20 year old youngster who said he only listens to 60s and 70s rock! He bought Blondie, Kinks and these guys on vinyl!!!! Talked to him and John, the store music guru for at least an hour! What a great Sunday afternoon! I was impressed! The kid, Ryan, knows his music!!!!

Lest you think SteveO's mention of The Spotnicks is about some obscure group from Nowheresville, know that this 50+ year Swedish group has 42 albums and has sold 18 Million copies--they stand right there with The Ventures.:

Thanks for the stats Jazzy! Impressive track record! Unfortunately one is unaware of music from Scandinavia! ABBA comes to mind instantly,,,who else??? Bjork from Iceland, but that's not part of Scandinavia!

Steve Winwoodâs Nine Lives. Hereâs âDirty Cityâ â loads of Stevieâs trademark B-3, fabulous guitar by Mr Clapton on this particular track, and nice funky percussion. Mmmmm â¦.. really good stuff!
