What Are You Listening To?
Lovin' your ELO reviews CH - haven't listened to my copies in a while. Time to dust them off and give them a spin!

Didn't really give Plant much of a shot after Zeppelin, I was wrong. The man has left his mark, even as a solo artist. I have his first 3
efforts on vinyl and I dropped out after this first cd. It didn't do much for me even when new. It barely gets a like mark with nothing I love.
I'm offbase though as allmusic says it's his best solo album. It is also his best selling album in the US with a triple platinum status. Page
shows up on a couple of these tracks.

Tom's first solo album, which of course is not a solo album. If it was Tom would be singing all parts and playing all instruments. There are
very few solo albums. This album includes Mike Campbell and Jeff Lynne among others, we even get an appearance from George Harrison (I Won't
Back Down) and Roy Orbison (Zombie Zoo). I love 3 tracks on here and like the rest making it just miss the love mark. They went all out on the
singles from this with seven and my fav charting the highest here at #7. The album is Petty's highest selling going 5X platinum in the US. Who
needs an official band anyway.
