first major snowfall in years here in Ky
about a foot where I am no chance of any melting before the weekend guess I will not be going anywhere not that I do anyway

I saw that the south got snow this morning on CNN! I was thinking perhaps you got the white crap in Kentucky! This is the worst winter up here in years!!!! We have been having two snowstorms a week since the first week of February!

temps during the days for the last couple of weeks have been yoyo-ing between 31C-37C(87-100F)...
todays temp will apparently hover around 43C(109F)... im hoping this will be summer's 'last roll of the dice' before we get into some nice Autumnal weather patterns

Beautiful sunny winter day...no dam wind...-5 Celsius or 22 Fahrenheit! Still about three feet of snow hanging around to make walking treacherous, icy sidewalks, so Bambino and I head for the woods! Rain then snow tomorrow so more ICE!

got to 41C/105-ish F yesterday...
overcast in the arfternoon which turned extremely humid... shame the thunderstorms didnt eventuate to 'clear the air'...

its summer here SteveO....Southern Hemisphere seasons are opposite to Northern Hemisphere mate.

In my area, the south suburbs of Chicago, it is cold, 22 degrees F.with snow falling, possible accumulation of three inches.

Well, by 7:30 PM the temp fell to 70--time to go in the house and put on long pants. Low tomorrow expected to be 55, with T-storms.
