Today I decided to go to one of the shelves of CD's and pick one without looking. Out popped Bon Jovi's 'Lost Highway' - so going to play that now. Can't even remember buying it but I suppose I must have at some point.

I agree. I am actually enjoying this because it's something I would not normally play. Got to venture out of the cage a bit more......

Inner Secrets would be my number 1 choice followed by Abraxas. But there are many more - another fave is Zebop, but I would recommend the first one I mentioned. Inner Secrets is probably their most commercial album but it has some incredible writing on it.

thanks J-Man....
"inner secrets" is on "the list" with "abraxas" and a compilation in that order.

The Alan Parsons Project - Tales of Mystery and Imagination - Edgar Allan Poe. This is the re-mastered version and I have to say you can hear it. The drums sound a hell of a lot better and there is some additional guitar work that slots in without being obtrusive. I am normally dead set against messing with a classic but this is one of those rare exceptions where it enhances the album.
