Thanks for this expose of a true "Insider's insider" artist--I was looking for a reason to get excited today and Mr. Clayton sure is it. He may have gone largely silent but he's not dead yet--hope springs eternal. A Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Clayton AMG Bio and Discog: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/lee-clayt.../biography and http://www.allmusic.com/artist/lee-clayt...iscography One measure of this type of artist's worth is looking at what his material sells for on the Amazin'--he's overdue for a serious package being offered--the best way to get to know Mr. Clayton is a "Live at Rockpalast" CD/DVD offering from 1980 but it's only out there at a freaky-deaky price (Amazin' US that is *). His Site: http://leeclaytononline.com/ << If enough interest is generated, maybe he can be persuaded back into a studio. Some more tunes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOR_RIogfWo << From that '80 German appearance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkeioFU2vw8 << A recent talk-song perf<< I so relate to this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU6WI90wlw4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOFOfE8joVo << He's not just thunder and lightning, and/or politics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wSoWSw7pBU << he's always been well-respected in Germany BONUS: Full album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAPtPrAuQdo * GOOD NEWS: That package can be got from Germany at a livable price: http://www.repertoirerecords.com/artists...ockpalast/ << Make sure you get the CD/DVD package--it's a CD-only also << To quote my insurance agent--"I exist to assist."

![]() MOODY BLUES "in search of the lost chord" vinyl,1968 career stats: studio albums.................16 compilation albums..........17 singles...........................26 this album stats..............#5 UK, #37 CAN, #23 US, #13 AU singles: "voices in the sky"..........#27 UK "ride my see-saw"..........#42 UK, #33 CAN, #67 US i'd heard so much hype about this album over the years and then last year i managed to find this one at a secondhand vinyl store so i snapped it up thinking i was holding gold in my hands..... but what a disappointment it turned out to be.... as much as i like the Moody's i just cannot get "into" this album at all, i guess its one of those 'had to be there' moments, after all i was still a baby when this was released, infact, i turned one the day this was released in the UK.... its just too much of a mish-mash for me as the tracks tend to blend/meld into one, not knowing where they start or finish... too much psychadelia, early prog sounds and overall too much of a muchness in the tracks for it to hold my attention fully over two sides of music... i totally see where these guys were coming from, its just not the same place i come from or wish to go to unfortunately. the cover art is exceptional IMO as is the album title, but sadly, this is one of those albums i couldnt care less if i heard again or not! I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM worst track: house of four doors best track: dr.livingstone,i presume tracks: 1. departure * 2. ride my see-saw ** 3. dr.livingstone,i presume *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiIH6gvXQGc tv performance 4. house of four doors * 5. legend of a mind *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EXCIWlm1fs video 6. house of four doors(part 2) * 7. voices in the sky * 8. the best way to travel * 9. visions of paradise * 10.the actor * 11.the word * 12.OM ** 3s=2 2s=2 1s=8 rating: 1.5
