My Mom has COPD. The DR. said it was from second hand smoke. My Dad had COPD from smoking 3-4 packs of cigs a day. Right before he passed his lungs were coming out of his nose. He smoke over 50 years.

it does make it easier to breathe when your lungs are in closer proximity to the actual air
but it could make it painful to blow your nose
the tissue paper would be rubbing against the lung tissue which I am told is very sensitive
