What music genre is good for playing poker?

I want to listen some music tomorrow when I will play poker, I thing Jazz is the best genre. Other ideas?

Absolutely. If with others, consensus is everything. You didn't say if casino with earbuds) or houseparty with speakers...If you go with jazz, consider that hybrid known as "soul jazz"--B-3 organ based with both soul/R&B AND bop/swing jazz feelings and elements. Should be peppy enough and you won't have to blast it to "get" it. Jimmy Smith, Charles Earland, Joey deFranceso, Akiko Tsuruga are some names to look for. AMG (All Music Guide) covers the sub-genre well.
