Time to enjoy the great chill-out instrumental sounds of Mark Barrott on his SKETCHES FROM AN ISLAND album (on the International Feel Recordings label) that makes you feel like you are vacationing along the Mediterranean Coast. Use your search engine to find and check out some tracks from this feel-good recording which is structured like a DJ set on the party-island of Ibiza.
The first tune has a funky electronic beat with flute playing the melody. The second tune is pulsing, almost lightly industrial, and the third track has a fast, fluttery rhythm plus guitar and bass. The fourth tune is made of mellow guitars with quiet synth and sandpaper percussion. The fifth piece has a pulsing, bubbling rhythm with a bongo-like patter plus guitar.
