emotion in singing
#1
What do people think about emotional connection in music? I'm a singer and this is something I've been working on as I think its important.
Do you think a singer needs to show emotion and make their performance believable for it to affect the audience?
Could you watch someone perform if they showed no emotion throughout?
Do you think help e.g. a workshop, should be available for those singers that find it hard to express emotions when singing?

Any thoughts..

i agree MH.....

emotion should come naturally, and if the singer is in sync with what he/she is singing then "feel" should come naturally

Emotion with music is when you correlate an experience you had in the past with the song, or maybe a person. That would help.
