No denying he was a great boxer and by all accounts a great humanitarian as well. RIP. I don't really follow boxing because I think it is a crazy sport but the one I always admired was Roberto Duran. He held 4 titles in 4 different weight divisions. (Losing and gaining weight in order to fight in those divisions) If you get a chance read his bio on Wiki. Not trying to take anything away from MA, but in my book RD had more nerve and guts than any other boxer I know of. Can't remember who he was fighting at the time, but he was beaten to a within an inch of his life but refused to go down in the ring, instead clinging on through sheer willpower. Don't know how he managed to do it.

^ Yes J man! Duran was definitely a tenacious pugilist who could take a tremendous shellacking but still managed to survive or even win! I loved watching his fights!
