Status Quo are like AC/DC. They are what they are, they are not my kind of music but at least there is no pretence about them. Meat and potatoes rock.

Bon Jovi, on the other hand, I hate with a passion. The contrived macho image, the obsession with guns, outlaws and violence... please make it go away.

It doesn't help that male strippers seem to love using Bon Jovi mixes for their backing soundtrack.

lowest common denominator rock IMO....three chords with a backbeat of R+B,
but its generally fun and you don't have to think too hard about it!
