Thx people - the day will be spent de-weeding the garden, laying laminate flooring and finishing off some painting & decorating. I am SO looking forward to that!!! Might go down to the pub and have a beer later on!
As for sane - I am afraid you are on losing a streak there. I am what you might call 'partially disturbed' & completely unconventional. It's a tough job but someone has to do it..............

Sorry, me hearties, but the days of the joint are long gone. I have fond memories of them, especially sitting on the beach in 1980, in Oranjemund, Namibia, listening to Tubular Bells at 5 in the morning on the edge of the desert. Where did the years go? Nowadays I am more interested in knee & hip joints and the like! Today I am going to settle for Mark Knopfler's 'Broken Bones' (pardon the pun) at full volume (cannot get enough of this track at the moment - very addictive) and a bottle of Brunello 2006. Mother's milk for the middle and rapidly ageing. After that it's going to be Beth Orton's 'Daybreaker', a lady whose work I am getting more and more fond of. There is nothing predictable in her music at all. I like that.

Just got an email, obviously from a data mining website that has my birth date recorded somewhere - it said 'Jump start your sex life'. I sent them a mail back asking if they provided the nuclear power plant to go with the offer..........
