The Divine Comedy "foreverland"

another I picked because i'd not heard of them...
album debuts at #3 on the UK "physical album chart" this week...
I Wiki'd them, they call them "orchestral pop", that's pretty accurate I guess,
but they belong more in alternative than the straight up pop thread...
band has been releasing albums since 1990, so its strange ive never heard of them
considering I have always kept a close eye on the UK charts...
so, description...
it is orchestrated...
light simple melodies throughout this one...
very mellow and lazy, dreamy vocals, much the same as those of most of
Ray Davies vocals on the slower Kinks tracks,
all up a pretty good collection of songs, will probably be my
album of the week unless something better comes along!
