geez, what a horrific way to die
makes you wonder whether it was negligence on the part of the operator or something more sinister:

an identical way to die was recently in the latest Final Destination movie:
Final Destination Bloodlines Erik and Bobby MRI Machine Brutal Death Scene! (yeah okay, its Hollywood BS but you can imagine what happened)

Yes CH - that Voyager 1 craft is an enigma indeed. To put this into perspective - it travels 38,000 miles per hour - so my flight from Cape Town to Dublin would have taken less than 10 minutes if I was flying on Voyager 1. Must change airlines next time I go...

Not news as such. I was watching some videos of Amy Winehouse in concert - such a sad waste of a huge talent. She had everything going for her but booze and drugs messed her up completely. Fame can be a real burden sometimes.
