You should take a listen to the wonderful piano-based music on this album. It is called SANCTUARY FOR THE SOUL by the JANICE LACY PROJECT. This is outstanding instrumental new age music (with some neo-classical and jazz influences) featuring piano on every track, many tunes as duets with cello, and a few numbers adding keyboards, bass and drums by top Los Angeles musicians (who have played with acts like the Crusaders, James Taylor, Ronnie Laws and Bonnie Raitt). Lacy has extensively studied classical and opera music. This music, which fits into the new age genre, is generally gentle and relaxing, but with a few forceful, dramatic pieces mixed in. Recommended.
