Thx CH - I am gonna celebrate by buying a new face mask, shield & a couple of cans of anti-bacterial spray!! Yippeee.
Seriously - no plans to do anything whatsoever. Go to work, make something to eat later on this evening, have a glass of vino and take in a movie. Will probably fall asleep half-way through.
And here (gulp) is some food for thought - very few male members of my family have lived past the age of 60. Better finish off those projects while I am still able to...

LOL
funny you mention the age of 60...
was having a conversation with my Dad last week (he is 77), was saying then that his last two cousins back in the UK died over the last couple of months (not C-19, but natural causes), they were both 99. he was saying that's about average for his family.
I replied that the average will drop because of me a diabetics have a lifespan 10-15yrs less than the average person generally speaking.
I mentioned that gives me to age 60 so he'll be burying me before I bury him, he'll be in my will, not me in his LOL.

I'm 58 for the record. Well past my sell-by date. In my head I think I am still 25. Go figure. Thx for the wishes MH.

Thanks Ruby - can always rely on you to come up with something unusual. Like the music you post. Keeps the rest of us in tune, so to speak.

I did not know that about diabetics. You see, you learn something everyday. It appears you can teach an old fart new tricks. Don't panic about the 60-thing. No-one ever knows for sure. And the mindset has an awful lot to do with it. Keep the brain occupied. The body will follow.

obviously it depends how you take care of yourself as a diabetic Jerome.
youre not going to do yourself any favours if you eat lots of carbs and sugar all the time,
like anything, take care of your body and your body should take care of you.
like you said, if you have the right mindset....

No I have not gone yet. I am biding my time. Infection rates climbing. I am not paranoid about this C-19 thing but at the same time you've got to be realistic. Would love to go but don't think that's very a smart thing to do at the moment. Have to admit I am sick of being in lockdown - absolutely itching to go somewhere new.
