his 41st solo album, 14th with CH...
10 tracks and it clocks in at a short (by their usual standard) 40 minutes.
pitiful, excruciating and sad....
only one track was just okay for me...
already posted the two pre-release tracks.
here is the one that is okay:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.

i was bored so i started looking at reviews of what the "experts" say about the album and i was left almost speechless by what i read:
THE GUARDIAN: says "the least frustrating album from Young in some time" but they still rate it 4/5.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse: Barn review – raucous, highly tuneful songs of life and love | Neil Young | The Guardian
PITCHFORK: says "he is a melodist in the realm of Carole King or Paul McCartney" rating 7/10.
Neil Young / Crazy Horse: Barn Album Review | Pitchfork
ROLLING STONE: says "at 76, neil is lovestruck one minute, incensed....at the next, it makes for a great album" rating 7/10.
Review: Neil Young & Crazy Horse's 'Barn' - Rolling Stone
and all other reviews say the same thing:
i guess myself and MH are the only ones without blinkers on.
