so i was at work a few nights ago and one of the guys i work with and myself had our first ever real chat that was more meaningful than the usual pleasantries one says to be polite.
not sure how the conversation started but it ended up with us discussing music,
he plays guitar and said to me that he would show me a few videos of him playing on our coffee break, so he did, he nailed "while my guitar gently weeps", the slide on "something", "kashmir", some cool Angus Young amongst others...
anyway,
to get to the point of this thread,
he ended up posing this question "if aliens were to land on earth and wanted to know what rock and roll is, which song would you play for them to describe it?"
after a couple of nights pondering the question i gave him my answer last night and my answer was "thunderstruck" by AC/DC,
his answer was "smoke on the water" so....
what song would you choose??
