Finally gathered enough strength to listen to this album. I don't know what to say. And I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing! Look - what he does is interesting, sonically - no two ways about it, but does it strike a chord?? Not a whole lot. There's a super spacey moment on "Garden of Stars" - or what we fondly imagine to be spacey anyway - considering there's no sound, as such, in space. How weird. Or to be correct, there may be sound but one cannot hear it ... I digress! There was one track that was more melodic than the others, and that I quite liked. Funny thing about this album - despite the fact that it's a lot to digest, I kinda want to go back and see if I can make more sense of it a second time around - figure out what he's on about without losing the thread which seems to happen a lot lately. Look a squirrel!! LOL! It'll have to wait for another day, however, as the inclination to repeat the exercise right now is low! The packaging looks absolutely gorgeous, I'll say that. https://www.discogs.com/release/24815474...DQ5MTU2Nzc=
That track I mentioned ... "These Small Noises"
Guitar – Leo Abrahams
Keyboards – Jon Hopkins (co-composer on this as well)
Voice – Brian Eno, Clodagh Simonds
