from Australia
pop, electro-pop
fourth studio album, i own the first two
these guys usually sample hundreds of beats/songs on their albums
not so many this time but employ various artists to add their wares
sort of a concept album about "inspired by the simultaneously magical and insidious ways that advertising and name-brand technology wraps itself around our memories."
30+ tracks but at least ten are under one minute (think radio commercials)
and another ten pretty well around just 2 minutes,
its actually quite clever and a bit more radio friendly/catchy than the two albums i own.
think of them as an Aussie equivalent of Moby and lets say his "play" album for comparison
its a keeper for me.
