This is the debut album from the talented singer/songwriter Emeli Sande. Her first name is Adele but for obvious reasons she has dropped the name.

This album,Our Version of Events, was released two weeks ago and is number 1 in the UK already ! The 24 year old native of Alford, Scotland has written songs for Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle as well as other popular recording artists.

Emeli has a talent for writing good rhythm and blues ballads and showcases her powerful soulful voice on the uptempo tracks. This is a very good album ! Watch out Adele, there's a new kid on the block and her name is also Adele but she uses her middle name - Emeli !!!
