hello to all,
My partner makes electronic music and i really want to buy him a record player for xmas.
it has to be able to be plunged in to a PC as well has having great ascetic look (was thinking maybe some wood in the design).
but most important the sound most be great
have about 150 pounds saved up for this i just want to get this right for him.
please help because i have know idea about what to get or where to start any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I can't really help here, but I assume you mean a turntable. Check out Linn turntables - they might make something that can be plugged inot a PC. Not sure. But their turntables are the best. I'm sure Pioneer make something along those lines as well.
By the way, if he makes electronic music an Akai MPK 25 would be a great gift.

i bought a relatively cheap one a couple of years ago...bought a Numark one...it has a USB terminal for computer plug-ins, i dont play vinyl much but it does the job when required.
that said...Jerome is the audio tech guy here so i suggest you probably take him on his word
