WHITE LIES "big tv"
apparently this is the third album by these 1980s retro new wave
guys from London,england...
lots of 1980s sounds happening here from Joy Division, Ultravox and i also
hear the same sounds that Spandau Ballet used on their early singles
like 'to cut a long story short'...
yeh sure its retro, but it does not sound forced or fake, it sounds like these
guys have genuinely been influenced by the likes of the artist i mentioned
above....just been on Wikkipedia to find some info and the band themselves
cite Echo & The Bunnymen,Tears For Fears and The Killers as their influences,
so i guess if you like all those bands plus the ones i mentioned then youre
going to really like this album.
rating: 1.7
from the album:
