Thank you so much for a warm welcome!
Sorry for the delay in replying to you all.
Like Tiggi has already reported, DAW is a Digital Audio Workstation.
I use Adobe Audition 3 along with Reason4. I use focusrite saffire pro 56 i/o as the interface. I am not very actively recording anything currently though. I am helping my musician friends on other aspects of their business.
