The bottom line here,my friends, is that regardless of their age and whether or not they're washed up, you can't ignore or dicard their impact in Rock history !
They were VERY POPULAR back in the day, at times dethroning The Beatles in popularity,,,they were not a flash in the pan,,,,,my yungins !!!!!....the well ran dry for them because of their dedication to blues rock n' roll...in which they focused on during their career ! ...and keep in mind...Keith Richard, Mick Taylor, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are superior musicians !!!!!

I think that if they have managed to survive 50 years being The Rolling Stones, giving pleasure to 1,000,000 then what is wrong with letting them do what they want to do and do well..................I don't think that ageism should be allowed to creep in to being a rock star or any other area of music..........no one worried about the great rock and Rollers or Blues men. We had a thread on BB being 80 and still going on................no problems................
BesidesKeith Richards has survived nearly everything so why should he have to give up becausde of opinion!

While the rest are certainly proficient on their respective instruments, Keith Richards was mediocre at best. He was just a party animal that happened to land up in a band that was popular. I have watched a couple of the bands performances and Keith Richards brings nothing to the table. Ron Wood & Mick Taylor were carrying him all the way. He could barely play the three chords he knew properly.

A masterpiece depicting raunchy raw down to earth blues and rock. I think there may be threads of Keith's brilliant playing throughout this album !!!!!

we have actually agreed on a hell of a lot of things here lately, and its starting to worry me?!
i thought it was only me who thought Richards really isnt as good as people make out...apart from a great riff in Satisfaction, he aint much chop, also have a couple of his solo albums....pieces of crap IMO
