If it seems like Mariah Carey fans have caught more glimpses of the superstar on the big screen in Precious and on Eminem dis tracks than onstage lately, it’s with good reason: Carey has yet to tour in support of her latest release, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, and she didn’t hit the road in support last year’s E=MC² — which was released as her relationship with now-hubby Nick Cannon heated up — either. But now, the long wait is over, as Carey has revealed plans for an eight-week, 19-city tour that’ll be preceded by a New Year’s Eve gig at New York’s fabled Madison Square Garden.

The Angels Advocate Tour officially gets underway January 2nd in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mariah will be on the road through February 27th in Las Vegas, with the tour making stops in Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles.

All other tickets go on sale December 19th. Openers for the trek will be RydazNrtist, an R&B group signed to Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment.

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood likes to keep herself busy: Three albums in four years, a boatload of pop-country hit songs and even a holiday special to warm our hearts. And now the last woman you want to cheat on is adding a 45-city tour to her busy schedule.

As Billboard reports the “Play On” tour kicks off March 10th in Reading, Pennsylvania, winds its way across the U.S. and Canada and comes to a finish May 30th in Spokane, Washington. In her typical American sweetheart manner, Underwood said she’s just eager to hit the road.

“I am getting so excited about next year as we are currently working through all the big plans for the tour,” Underwood said. “I cannot wait to perform new music and see familiar faces across the U.S. and Canada!”

Joining her on tour is Grand Ole Opry member Craig Morgan and sibling act Sons of Sylvia. Underwood was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her No. 1 song “Just a Dream” and Best Country Collaboration for her duet with Randy Travis called “I Told You So”. And we all know that means something…

Beach House have just announced a headline UK tour for February and dates with Grizzly Bear.

Having already toured the US extensively together, BEACH HOUSE will again be joining GRIZZLY BEAR as special guests on their UK tour in March 2010, Grizzly Bear have long championed Beach House with Victoria supplying guest vocals on both 'Two Weeks' from Veckatimest and the track 'Slow Life' from the New Moon soundtrack, Dates below,

Blink-182 have confirmed European dates for next summer.

The reunited trio will play two German events, the Area 4 Festival on August 21 and Highfield Festival the following day (22), according to an official post on Twitter that directed fans to Blink-182's Pickrset page.

The dates' proximity to the Reading And Leeds Festivals, which take place the next weekend (August 27-29), has already lead to online speculation that the band will headline that event too, however there has been no comment from the festivals' organisers.

The festival appearances also raise the possibility of club shows in Europe next year, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
