I really like some of the new old school R&B/Soul artists that are currently recording.
Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings
Sugarman 3
Bo-Keys
City Champs
Budos Band
Daktaris
Help me out by adding to the list

I've just had a listen to the last Sharon Jones album, and was quite impressed...

I just discovered for my self Deb' Mo'. Who is probably more blues than r&b but I think fits this topic because he has a very modern sound mixed in.

Thanks for this list. I've been looking for new groups doing old-style R&B. I'll throw in Irene Cara - Hot Caramel. I read a review on this album at a soul website so I bought it today from Amazon and it is very good. Hot Caramel is Cara's band, an all girl group and they're performing old-style R&B.
