Nowadays there are also podcasts, or prerecorded radio shows, they cover a wide variety of topics, from music, to pop culture, anything under the sun really.

Audiobook also became more popular and easier to get.

Have to say I love audio books. They allow you to use your imagination, be entertained AND be able to do something else at the same time. Great value for money. Have about 30 or so of them at the moment.

i think Apple's beats1 radio is pretty cool. They play a variety of songs throughout the day, pop, hiphop, alternative, etc. it's good for me because, I usually listen to urban radio, but I like all genre's as long as the music is good. There are rumors of more stations possibly being added(beats2, beats3 etc). Similar to BBC Radio. which i think is pretty dope. it's sort of how the radio use to be back in the days, the DJs play whatever they want.

Curious that when F.M. is clearly superior so many seem to like the squashed distorted internet sound??!!!
