December starts tomorrow and those "best of 2015" albums lists will start emerging....
feel free to post any of those lists you find on the WWW for members to read and pass comment on....
I personally bought 27 studio albums that were released in 2015, plus one live album(live albums don't count IMO as theyre way to
difficult to score properly)...you either dislike, like or love live albums for what they are and for the most part, live albums aren't generally the same
as when you see an artist live....
I will collate all the ones I bought in 2015 this week and post them either best to worst or worst to best as per the scoring system both MH and
myself use on this forum and post them later in the week(or on the weekend,or really, when I can find the time to do so)...
so, let the "best of" lists begin.....!

looks like they've scored using listener reviews scraped together from multiple sites
always amazed when I look at these end of year lists
I think of myself as staying on top of music
then I see I have heard of 8 of the 25 artists on this first list
and think I must be pretty ignorant of current music
always makes me wonder if I'm missing a gem
no time to listen to everything

looks to me like the Kendrick Lamar album will feature heavily(and high) in the best of lists if the first two are anything to go by

ok,
so I bought twenty-eight studio albums that were released in 2015 and one live album...
live albums are hard to grade because of what they are so it doesn't count here...
one of the studio albums was released in the UK/Australia in 2014 but only got released in the US around May of this year,
therefore it, George Ezra's "wanted on voyage", is entitled to be posted as a 2015 release....
I wouldn't have allowed that one to go on the list except for the reason that the US is probably the major music market
in the Western World...
all of the albums I bought have been previously posted in the various "what are you listening to" threads and are ranked
here by me according to their rating score....
it is an eclectic list covering classic rock, prog rock, metal, hard rock, folk, country, alt rock, R+B, easy listening, psychedelic, and pop.
