Lalo Shifrin's Bullitt is a good one as well.

And Mark Knopfler's 'Last Exit to Brooklyn' is one amazing piece of music. Also try 'Screenplaying' by same artist.

Flah Gordon certainly proved that Queen were capable of wriitng a good film score. But the people who produced the CD I have thought it was a good idea to have dialogue over most of the cues. I don't really mind dialogue on a soundtrack, so long as it's on separate tracks - such as on Roy Budd's Get Carter - but with Flas Gordon it ruins the music.

i dont mind the Flash Gordon dialogue, but it is over done in parts.
i love Brians 'wedding march' solo best of all, even though its a traditional piece of music i think Queen made it theirs on the album. i havent got the cd, just the vinyl version unfortunately
