ROBBIE WILLIAMS "live at knebworth" cd, 2003.

one from Dani's collection...
heard this one also whilst packing today...Dani loves it, i like it....
i find Robbie better to look at whilst performing/singing than listening to him...and as i saw him in concert several years ago, nothing comes close to the atmosphere of one of his gigs(like most performers!)
the only real problem i have is all the profanities he uses between the songs.....TAKE NOTE ROBBIE: there is no need for it, you're a good enough entertainer and dont need to stoop to those levels in order to get recognition....your music, cheekiness, slapstick humour etc etc are just fine mate!
anyways, not a bad album, contains all the hits upto and including his 2003 singles...and he has a strong collection of very good tunes to pick from....not bad for a former Boy Band vocalist!
his version of Mr Bojangles is just brilliant....that reminds me, i gotta get his "swing when youre winning" cd which contains covers of all those old Ratpack standards.

I CANNOT STAND THIS ONE!

Oh My God!....
heard this one last night, Dani's daughter bought it at the shops and i was forced to endure it when we got home....
never liked this guy...well maybe a handful of tracks but i couldnt tell you the names of any of them.
only one song i liked on here and that is the opening track "i like it"...which i do! the rest is a load of crap...couldnt wait for it to end, and i didnt, i went to bed about eight tracks in!
and with my luck there are a couple of great songs that i missed out on hearing...but i doubt it!

so out of eight tracks, theres one like making the rating a miserable 1.1....prettty sure this is worse than that Aqua cd!

Just because you're related to Loretta doesn't make you country. Not a track on here I would call country, yet
that's where the gal most consistenly appeared on the charts. I can only remember one of these so called hits, Half
The Way. This was my down period, as far as being connected to music. Early 80's when I had just moved to the
sunshine state. Regrettably I preferred moonshine and missed the bluegrass state. Checking the stats, most of these
songs were hits, just off my radar. Three number ones and four others making the top ten. Of course, my favorite is
none of those, but a Delbert McClinton song, Take It Easy. More bluesy than the others. Rest of the album is more
pop. Two of the tracks are terrible with all others getting a passing grade. Never a Crystal fan, except for that
hair. Bet she wouldn't last long in a cat fight. The album made #23 on the country charts and cracked the pop
chart, where it should be, at #169.

I LIKE THIS ALBUM

Worst Track - Keepin' Power

Best Track - Take It Easy

Take it easy lovin' me
Don't start thinkin' I'm somethin' that I'll never be
Just need me as much as need be
Take it easy lovin' me

Many is the man who'll drive himself crazy tonight
Well there's some kind of woman who he says ain't treatin' him right
Expect that a someone is quick to be taken its toll
And if you're not careful you'll wake up lonely and old

Take it easy lovin' me
Don't start thinkin' I'm somethin' that I'll never be
Just need me as much as need be
Take it easy lovin' me

Now dreamin' about him are things that most of us do
And sooner or later we all need a part of a clue
But those in a hurry to unpack their bag full of dreams
Are quick to be victims to the lies and the lust and the schemes

Take it easy lovin' me
Don't start thinkin' I'm somethin' that I'll never be
Just need me as much as need be
Take it easy lovin' me
Take it easy lovin' me
