at 85 years of age Bennett still has the voice of much younger man and i have no problem with his vocals here, its just a shame that a lot of the youngsters on this one with him arent so good.
surprisongly Lady Gaga's "the lady is a tramp" duet which opens the set is quite good, this girl/guy/hermaphrodite actually has a good voice IMO.
Queen Latifah,is equally surprisingly good, then theres the usual suspects who never fail to let me down in KD Lang (blue velvet), and Willie Nelson (on the sunny side of the street), Nora Jones also excels in the jazz/blues genre as you'd expect.
i was dissapointed with Aretha's effort...but i guess she has had a lot of health problems lately, Michael Buble's "dont get round much anymore" isnt as good as i thought it would be, i was also dissapointed with other lacklustre performances by Amy Whinehouse, Natalie Cole, John Mayer and what the hell is Tony doing singing with a terrible vocalist like Mariah Carey( sorry but i dont think this girl has any talent!).
personally i would stick with Bennett's non dueting material and cannot recommend this one
