from memory, there was a time in the 1990s when she sold millions of albums worldwide over the space of a couple of albums,never could "get into her"(music) then and havent made any attempt to since,
BTW, this was her huge #1 hit out here back in the day(think it got to #1, maybe it didnt but pretty sure it did)...

1997's Homogenic is a complete masterpiece from beginning to end. If that's all you ever hear of her music you will be ok. If you ask me it doesn't end there but I always understand people who say they don't care for Bjork.

Morrissey...hmm, surprised you like him, but then again im not, a lot of people find Cohen/Dylan boring and unable to sing...same goes for Morrissey!
................im not really a fan of him as a solo performer,always thought he lacked 'something' without Johnny Marr beside him!
Scissor Sisters...i have one of their albums, i like their sound a lot,even the dance stuff,i find them to be quite unique sounding in what they do

I actually really like this album. It was my introduction to Morrissey. I went through a big Morrissey phase after this album.
It led to me buying a Greatest Hits album of his... And I think I like maybe the first 8 songs and don't care for the rest. Was a bummer. Gave up on him pretty quickly.
But, "You Are The Quarry" is still a pretty nice album. Don't know if I'd go so far as a 2.4/3, but, still very enjoyable.
