My alternative light-hearted desert island ten, chosen so as to be appropriate for the situation:

David Gilmour - On an Island
The Fixx - Reach the Beach
The Beatles - HELP!
The Beach Boys - Surf's up
Bread - On the Waters
Split Enz - Time and Tide
Jimmy Buffett - Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
The Waterboys - This Is the Sea
Paul Kelly - So Much Water So Close to Home

and one that might be a bif of a downer:
