MICHAEL JACKSON & THE JACKSON 5 "the motown years" cd, 2008:
disc #3:
sixteen tracks on this, the third and final disc in the three disc set...
by this time the Jackson 5 had become The Jacksons and little Michael was not so small,
he was starting to forge ahead with a solo career...
although the songs have a dance/disco feel to them they are more mature than the previous two discs..
nothing I dislike on this one...
and when you play a set like this its good to see the progression of an artist as a singer and writer...
Michael was streets ahead of his brothers as a writer and singer by 1977, and really, he was the only one
ever going to make it on his own, give him another five years and he was to be the biggest thing in music since Elvis Presley and Beatles, infact,
he'd be rich enough to buy the rights to, and own, the Beatle catalogue!
