second album from this Swedish pop group...
first in the US/UK/CAN/AU though...
album contains tracks from the band's debut Swedish set "happy nation", plus a couple not
on that album and a couple they re-recorded again...
happy, easy going pop tunes that have a hint of reggae through them at times...
album contains a respectable cover of Aswad's "don't turn around" which in return was a cover of the Luther Ingram
song, which again, in return was a cover of a Tina Turner that was written for her ny the legendary Albert Hammond.
(phew, glad I got that one out without getting confused), ive got the Aswad, love it, heard and like the Tina, but not heard
the Luther...
after ABBA and Roxette, Ace Of Base are the biggest selling Swedish band of all time clocking up 30+ million album sales
still a pretty good album IMO...
I cant be bothered listing all the tracks from this one, just going to say, of the eleven track on it, theres three I love, seven I like
and one I dislike, that would give an overall rating of 2.2, which is respectable "high-like"...
my favourite track:
