LOVE AND MONEY "strange kind of love" vinyl, 1988:
one of those second hand vinyls I picked up as a surprise:
ie: not knowing who the artist was or what genre to expect...
so, UK 1980s pop/blue-eyed soul boys...
second album....
hints of jazz and country in places but mainly that blue eyed soul stuff "ala" Spandau Ballet etc...
love the cover photo is its one of those "a picture paints a thousand words" moments IMO, which
is probably half the reason I bought it...
nothing I remotely like on here at all, I guess im missing something because all the reviews ive
seen of it on the WWW say its a 'classic' from that period???
from the album, the lead off single:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.
