CULTURE CLUB "colour by numbers" vinyl/cd 1983.
their second of six
I own the first two
ballads, gospel, r+b, soul, pop all done to perfection.
crystal clear production.
ten million plus sales worldwide and thoroughly deserved IMO.
big hits, Karma Chameleon, Church Of The Poisoned Mind.
the thing that really makes this album are the powerful yet soulful
backing vocals from Helen Terry, she left them after this one, so did I.
this would, without a doubt, in my list of top 5 albums of the 1980s for sure
loving eight of the ten track, liking the other two.
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
favourite, the third single.
why was this not released in the US as a single???
if youre not familiar with the song give it a go, its a ballad not his usual pop style
