Listening to ABBA today and particularly noticing the super laidback bass, courtesy of Rutger Gunnarsson (mostly), one of a handful of regular additional musicians who played on their albums. Gunnarson, now deceased, might have been on all of them, if I’m not mistaken, although a second bassist, Mike Watson also featured on a few. I also read somewhere that there was never any sheet music at the recording sessions, other than for the string section.
