CULTURE CLUB "colour by numbers" vinyl/cd 1983
a revisit...
their second of six and if im going to be perfectly honest, the only one that is essential (apart from compilations IMO)...
ten track, each one as good as the previous iMO...
some pop, lots of r+b/soul and a hint of Gospel on a couple of tracks...
an absolute pop masterpiece, probably the finest example of 'blue-eyed soul' from not only the 1980s but the rock era, period!.
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
a little something different this tome around, gotta love the powerful soulful backing vocals from Helen Terry on this one:
