ABBA "ring ring" vinyl, 1973
from the "studio albums vinyl box set"...
their debut album of nine,
i will go through each album in chronological order over the next two weeks or so...
original released in Sweden not by ABBA but by Bjorn & Benny, Agnetha & Frida a year earlier...
interesting the amount of tracks sung by the guys on this one...
album was a hit in their homeland and Australia only, making triple platinum in the latter...
an album which shows glimpses of the potential of the class that was to come later down the road to success...
Wiki says eight singles were lifted off it over a period of 15 months so they sure were eager for hits...
so overall, not a bad album with nothing i cannot listen to but slightly too much of a muchness...
would score around 1.7 if i had to rank it...
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
favourite is the title track...
