Well, actually neither Alternative nor Metal fit.
Grindcore originates from Hardcore (Punk) as well as extreme forms of Metal thus having no real connection to Industrial music.
Industrial music and Noise, however, might fit within the same board as Noise music is one (out of many) origins of Industrial.
I'd say that the contemporary classical music/Musique Concrète (i.e. Stockhausen, Xenakis, Parmegiani etc.) would better go with Noise since it bears more resemblances to that than to classical classical (haha) music.
