How about incorporating Industrial into the Alternative genre, as a sub-genre as above ?? I'll need a good suggestion for an example of an Industrial band or artist (I've put NIN down as a starter only).
I have concerns about digging down too far into sub-genres, as there are a never-ending supply of sub-sub-sub-genres which we can't hope to include. It's the same with all the Metal sub-genres (Black, Death, Drone, Progressive, Sludge, Speed etc. etc. ad nauseum...)
