I am not familiar with Cash's " concept " albums ??? Big news to me and probably millions of others. Also knew nothing of Peggy Lee's concept album either. Thanks for the news ... I'll check them out !!!!
I think the reason why Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was considered by many as the "first concept" album was because of the huge popularity of the Beatles that overrided mostly any other music at the time !
