This term has variously been used to describe the fore-runner to Rock & Roll, '60s Brit Blues, & now, sugary Soul (R&B).
How did this happen ??
Is it that the term is just loose enough to mean any music of African American origin ?? and if so, why aren't other Black American musical genres included ??
Or don't I understand things properly ??
