OK, I will weigh in here...
Genesis, "Lamb Lies Down On Broadway"... or how about Peter Frampton's "Frampton Comes Alive", or is that considered a greatest hits ablum? No, I have it, "Tommy" by The Who. As already mentioned, The Clash "London Calling" is up there too, along with "The Wall" from Floyd. Also, the combined set "Giant Step/De Ole Folks At Home" by Taj Mahal, oft times considered a single set, (one disc electric, the other not) is a pretty perfect set.
I guess the point is, while none may actually meet the criteria for an absolutely perfect double set, if we grade on a very slight curve, there will be a ton of nominees!
