i love finding old 'lost treasures' also.
have i mentioned here before that i did the carpentry in Hank's house in Brigadoon, here in Perth's outer hills suberbs some 25 yrs ago as an apprentice???.
i even met him on several occasions whilst construction was taking place.....he seemed a very humble, down to earth guy.
after he moved in, he threw a 'thank you party' for all the trades who worked on the home, unbeknown to us at the time he flew over the rest of the Shadows and as Cliff was on tour here at the time he was also invited....we got an inpromptu gig courtesy of Cliff and the Shadows(acoustic performance of about 10 songs from the old 1950s/early '60s songs!), a barbeque and a knockout tennis tournament on his tennis court.
