Do you care about the lyrics?

ultimately my favourite artists are ones who have something intelligent to say, the melody of the track and/or the vocalists singing quality comes second to me, even if the artist has political songs with opposing views to those of my own i will still listen and if they put their message across reasonably then thats even better.i guess with lyrical content being #1 in my book then i guess this is the reason why i dislike disco/dance tracksthe same goes for instrumental tacks...without lyrical content i need to "feel" the music,if it has no soul i dont like it.

CH I strongly urge you to listen to Sixto Rodriguez - an album called Cold Fact. Think you will like it. Plenty of it on YT.
