This is my first encounter with the indie ensemble of The School of Seven Bells(also known as SVIIB). Consisting of Benjamin Curtis on guitars and production and the whispy vocals of Alejandra Deheza this is the NewYork City band's third studio album since 2008 and the first release without the vocals of Alejandra's twin sister Claudia who left the band in 2010.
The music here is very entertaining with intelligent instrumental passages that complement the dreamy low-fi singing of Alejandra. A very good electronic shoegaze album!
